Helen Flanagan regularly shares about her parenting experiences with her followers and in a new Instagram Q&A she has opened up about breastfeeding her three children. When asked if she still breastfeeds her son Charlie, who she welcomed in March 2021 with footballer Scott Sinclair, Helen responded with a close-up selfie of her teary face.
The star, who played Rosie Webster in Coronation Street, breastfed with all three of her children - Charlie, Matilda, seven, Delilah and four. The 32-year-old, from Bury, said it was emotional to stop feeding as she was aware that Charlie might be her last child.
She wrote: "No x I finished feeding Charlie at 14 months. It's so emotional when you stop feeding I think it's because it's highly likely Charlie is my last baby."

"It took a good two months to get Charlie off the boob and I had to get help with that. I finished feeding on our summer holiday to Dubai but I had a fun child free trip planned that I needed Charlie to be off the boob for so I looked at the positives."
In another post Helen told how much she loved breastfeeding and spoke of the bond it created between her and her babies. "I loved breastfeeding," she said.
"Such a lovely bonding experience," Helen wrote alongside a photo of herself nursing Charlie while on holiday. "I suppose firstly you do what's right for you and what makes you happy. Happy mummy, happy baby.
"So wherever you choose to bottle feed or breast feed do what you want and don't feel pressured to do either way." She added candidly: "I wanted to breast feed. I found things easy feeding Delilah and Charlie but hated feeding with Matilda."
Helen explained: "I was told my latch wasn't right. I had no confidence I was being so overwhelmed with being a mum anyway and shocked, I'd never even changed a nappy before."
She went on to say: 'I was lucky my mum stayed with me for a week until my milk came in with Matilda and I found nipples shields a real life saver."
To mark the new year Helen posted a montage of special times on her page as she said she was 'grateful' for this year. The sweet post was packed with glam moments such as the actress looking stunning in glitzy dresses and soaking up the sun in bikinis, and heart-warming clips of Helen enjoying quality time with her children.
One clip showed Helen giving a thumbs-up as she stood in an empty skip and another showed her clapping and singing while wearing a sombrero to celebrate Charlie's first birthday and Scott turning 33. Another special moment was her eldest daughter losing two front teeth and the girls meeting the Easter bunny.
On Christmas Eve she shared a video of her children receiving guinea pigs for Christmas. "Happy Christmas Eve sending love. Matilda has asked me for a pet since forever and really wanted a Guinea pig Delilah wasn’t too sure but I think she’s warming to it," she wrote.
Helen recently discussed suffering 'mum guilt' while at an event away from home in London. She told OK! on the blue carpet at the 2022 ITV Palooza: "Yeah, [they are] really good, really good. I came up today but as soon as I was on the train, I got mum guilt I was even away and I was thinking: 'Oh Helen!'"
