Helen Flanagan reveals she and Scott Sinclair have reached co-parenting 'compromise' with eldest daughter

Helen Flanagan has shared that she and her footballer ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair have reached a co-parenting "compromise" following their surprising separation. The Corrie star was with the Bristol Rovers winger for 13 years, with the couple having three children together during their relationship - Matilda, seven, Delilah, four, and Charlie, two - before calling time on it in July 2022.

Former I'm A Celebrity campmate Helen has recently opened up about her split from Scott, nearly a year on. She revealed that Scott had moved in with his mum as they tried to navigate co-parenting arrangements.

Although they may not see eye-to-eye on everything, including their daughter wanting to create a TikTok account, they have learnt to reach an agreement together. Instead of letting Matilda use the trendy social media app, Helen and Scott allowed her to make a YouTube channel instead.

"My kids are always asking me, 'Oh, mummy can have a phone?' all the time and, 'Can have a phone?'," Helen explained to MailOnline. "And my eldest, especially, is always asking me, 'Mummy, I want TikTok. I want TikTok.'

"I took her on holiday recently and it's all she talks about. But obviously I'm not ready for my children at eight years old to have social media."

Helen then explained that, whilst she knows her mum is an actress, Matilda knows she also works in social media, so "that's all she knows, really".

She added: "Me and her dad, we co-parent together and we said she could have her own YouTube channel. So we've kind of compromised on that. I need to start it though. She'll absolutely love it."

Helen and Scott met in 2009, with the Bristol Rovers winger getting down on one knee during a trip to Disneyland Paris in 2018. They were due to tie the knot in 2020 but, after being forced to cancel their big day as a result of Covid-19 restrictions, they had a change of heart and decided to call it off and end their relationship.
