Helen Flanagan makes 'hard' admission about being a mum before defending her 'pampered pets'

Helen Flanagan has shared an honest admission about being a mum a day after she shared a picture of herself in a wedding dress. The former Coronation Street star made the comments after she decided to do a mini Q&A with her followers on Instagram.

After imploring her fans to ask her questions, she later returned to her social media platform to start answering some of the messages she had been sent. One read: "How do you find having three kids? I'm frazzled lol."

Helen, who shares daughters Matilda and Delilah and son Charlie with footballer Scott Sinclair, replied by sharing a photo of herself looking rather exhausted to which she then admitted in a written message alongside "I find being a mum hard."

The Bury-born star went on to share: "I feel tired most of the time and like I have to split myself into three but just love them so much. Would never change it for the world and I just give them all I've got every day x."

Helen also responded to a comment which mentioned the pet guinea pigs she brought for her eldest daughter at Christmas. In an adorable video shared on Instagram in December, Bristol Rovers star Scott could be seen arriving into the family with a pet carrier and little Matilda is was seen overcome with excitement as she received her new furry friends.

Helen then gestures a thumbs-up to the camera after making her daughter's 'dreams come true' for Christmas. She captioned the video: "Happy Christmas Eve, sending love. Matilda has asked me for a pet since forever and really wanted a Guinea pig. Delilah wasn't too sure but I think she's warming to it."

Helen, 32, then replied: "I bought Matilda two, Angel and Snowball. I never wanted a pet but Matilda really wanted one so I did it for her. I spend my life cleaning up guinea pig poo." She then reassured: "They are very pampered pets."

The former soap star's chat with fans comes after she posed in a beautiful bridal gown in a stunning snap shared on her Instagram to mark International Women's Day. Helen looked gorgeous in a white lace gown, a delicate veil and tiara in the throwback picture.
