Helen Flanagan looks emotional as she admits she's struggling in candid admission about 'being on her own'

Helen Flanagan appeared emotional as she spoke directly to her fans and admitted she's 'really bad at being on her own'. It came after the former Coronation Street star appeared in a video posted to her Instagram Story in which she appeared in despair as she sat in her car.

She explained that she had a flat tyre and said: "I can't even make it up the hill," as she rubbed her face in the black and white video. "Broke down last night. So annoying with Charlie in my car," she wrote alongside the clip. Helen then appeared in a follow-up video saying she woke up and had 'completely forgot' about her flat tyre and was waiting for a taxi to pick her up to take her son, Charlie, to nursery.

The actress, who is famed for playing Rosie Webster in ITV's Corrie, then posted another video in which she appeared to be hunkered down on her sofa. She appeared make-up-free and rubbed her face in the clip as she appeared tired. Helen said she needs to 'constantly' be surrounded by friends or her children.

Helen looked sombre as she showed off her natural beauty while lying down in a grey tank top and pulled her long blonde tresses up into a bun. While not speaking in the video, she did wrote: 'I'm really bad at being on my own, anyone else relate to this? I constantly have to have my friends with me or be with my kids."

It comes after Helen was flooded with comments over a 'beautiful' message she shared alongside a photo of her and her daughter on a recent holiday. Over Easter, the 32-year-old star whisked her three children - Matilda, seven, Delilah, four and two-year-old son Charlie - off on a luxury sunshine break.

Helen, from Bury, jetted off to Dubai at the start of the school holidays and was branded a 'supermum' after she Instagrammed a smiling picture of herself pushing a beaming Delilah in a pram as Charlie looked on and Matilda ran at the side of them. Helen has since been getting back into the swing of 'normal' life back in the UK but couldn't help but do a bit of reminiscing as she shared a picture of herself and her eldest daughter Matilda having fun on the beach.

The mum-of-three looked amazing in a teal bikini as she ran along the sand while her daughter beamed at her as they laughed together. Alongside the photo, she typed: "If you ever feel like giving up, just remember there is a little girl who wants to be just like you… don’t disappoint her." Her celebrity pals including former Corrie co-star Catherine Tyldesley, fellow I'm A Celebrity campmate Gillian McKeith and reality star Jessica Wright were among those sharing hearts and messages in the comments.

And fans were also soon sharing their support and praise for the message. @tinkerbellaiaai said: "Thank you. I needed this." @my_little_coeliac_girl commented: "This is beautiful. Remember when you look back at this that this is exactly what she saw in this moment. So precious."

Last week, Helen was the ultimate lady in red at Aintree Ladies' Day as she turned heads in a bright button-up one-shoulder dress. The former soap star looked stunning in her elegant dress with pleated full skirt, which she teamed with a black and white fascinator and striking black clutch with a silver tassel detail.

Helen partied with her friend fashion stylist Kelvin Barron at the races. She shared a clip of the pair singing along to the Oasis classic Wonderwall as she declared on her Instagram Stories: "I love being northern what a great day." Later the pair headed to celeb hot-spot Menagerie bar and restaurant at Spinningfields.

She shared a gorgeous video montage on her Instagram of the Bury actress descending the stairs before heading to Aintree. The downpours at the event saw many other race-goers reaching for their umbrellas and ponchos. The following day (Saturday April 15) the doting mum of three returned to her Instagram Stories as she shared about being reunited with her children, who she shares with footballer Scott Sinclair, after they stayed the week with their dad and his mum.
