Naughty Helen Flanagan found herself in trouble at her daughter's school after breaking a key rule.
The actress, mum to Matilda, eight, Delilah, five, and Charlie, two, allowed her eldest child to style her hair with purple braids.
She loved the glam summer look after getting her hairdresser pal to help with the make-over - but the powers that be didn't.
Helen was told they had to go if the girl was to be allowed in class and she was forced to take drastic action.
She filmed herself with her friend Kelvin Barron after making a tough decision and she came clean after the family were told of the issue.
"So the braids didn't go down too well at school," she explained on Instagram.
The crimper chimed in: "What a time to be alive!"
Helen then told her followers: "So me and Kelvin have to do every single braid so she can go to school tomorrow."
Holding up the cut-off braids up to the camera, Kelvin joked: "Mother of the year."
Helen then said: "It was the colour they didn't like at school, maybe summer holidays."
It's not what she needs right now after the 32-year-old was criticised by social media trolls for drinking wine around her children but fans have since rushed to her defence.
The former Coronation Street star hare several candid snaps taken with her children at the family home in Manchester.
Snaps saw the actress and her three children enjoying one another's company as she explained she had merely attempted to get a family picture with them but things didn't go to plan.
In one image, Helen could be seen holding what appears to be a glass of rosé while her children playing around her.
Helen appeared to be trying to pose with her kids as they went about their business and continued to play before Delilah and Charlie made the decision to climb all over Helen, leaving her in fits of laughter.
Trolls were quick to attempt to criticise her, with one writing: "Drinking in front of the kids... Hmmmm."
A second went on to say: "Ok drinking & being drunk whilst looking after children is not on."
Helen was evidently not drunk in the snaps as she relaxed while around her children.
Leaping to her defence, fans of the former I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! star penned: "As if people find it acceptable to pull the woman apart she’s got kids occasionally we are all aloud time out even if it means the odd glass of wine whilst they’re there, even kids are allowed a glass with a meal at a restaurant?
"I hardly went out often when mine were younger so I had a few glasses does that make me a bad mother I think not?"
