Helen Flanagan has shared a heartbreaking tribute as she told her fans her Nanna has died. The Coronation Street star shared the news on Instagram on Thursday (April 21) alongside a string of sweet images with her beloved family member with her children.
She said Nancy was an "amazing lady" before sharing how she could have "one last cuddle" and "tell her how much I loved her." The actress, who played Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, began her emotional post: "I loved and love my Nanna so much.
"She was an amazing lady and I am proud to be Nancy’s granddaughter. I am so grateful for the precious times we shared and that my Nanna got to see all three of my beautiful children that my Nanna loved so much and gave her so much joy.

"I have the best childhood memories, holiday memories and memories with my babies with my Nanna that I am so grateful for. I wish I could see and give her one last cuddle and tell her how much I loved her but I think she knew."
Helen, who is mum to Matilda, six, Delilah, three, and one-year-old son Charlie, was quickly flooded with messages from her former Corrie stars and fans.
Michelle Keegan, who played Tina McIntyre in the ITV soap, wrote: "So sorry for your loss Hels."
Helen's on-screen mum Sally Dynveor also shared her condolences, writing: "Oh Helen I’m so sorry. Love to you and the family."
Former Sinead Osbourne actress Katie McGlynn shared: "Sending so much love my darling," while Sacha Parkinson, who almost married Helen's on-screen sister Sophie, played by Brooke Vincent, commented: " I’m so sorry for your loss darling. Sending you all love and healing."
In the images Helen posted to her one million followers, her grandmother Nancy could be seen enjoying time with the Bury-born soap star's children spending time with their great-grandmother. One was black and white and showed Nancy holding one of Helen's children as a newborn.
In another, Helen's nan sat smiling with a beaming at a younger Matilda on her lap, who was wearing a white knitted cardigan, blue gingham dress and a matching white satin ribbon in her hair. Helen shares her three children with her Preston footballer fiance Scott Sinclair.
The third snap saw Helen's mum, daughter, and nan stood together smiling in the sunshine by what looked like the sea front.
