Helen Flanagan has opened up about the incredible results of her recent boob job.
The former Coronation Street actress revealed last month she had gone under the knife in a bid to boost her confidence following breastfeeding her three kids. Helen, 32, shares her three children - Matilda, 7, Delilah, 4, and Charlie, 1 - with ex-fiancé and former Celtic player Scott Sinclair.
Sharing a video of clips before and after her operation on social media at the weekend, Helen told Instagram fans all about the procedure. She wrote: "I was quite open here on Instagram in January about my recent boob job. This was something I wanted to do for a really long time and by doing so I’ve really got my confidence back."
Helen and Scott split last October, after the soap star was spotted at the National Television Awards without her engagement ring on. The couple started dating in 2009, but called time on their relationship after 13 years together.
Despite splitting, the pair are focussed on co-parenting together as Scott surprised their kids on Christmas day.
Discussing her surgery last month, Helen admitted that had always been busty with a natural E cup, but after breastfeeding her children she was left lacking in confidence as her bust went to a B cup and became 'really saggy'.
She said: "I breastfed in total for 3 years. Matilda I fed for eight months. Delilah I fed for 13 months. Charlie I fed for 14months. As soon as I finished my breastfeeding journey with Charlie I wanted to get them done pretty much straight away. I felt like you could tie them in a bow.
"I had to wait though for six months after feeding and then I went for it in January. I don’t regret one second of my breastfeeding journeys they were precious times. I was a little bit nervous I was worried they were going to be too big for my frame but they are so perfect for me and so in proportion."
She continued: "I am all for body confidence and I am all for empowering other women and supporting other women in their decisions that they decide to make. My recovery was amazing. I was back to my feet before I knew it I think it’s because I was 50/50 under and over the muscle."
"I wanted super natural results and that’s what I got and just for them to be pert again. It was a good start of the year for me as I want to feel good this summer. I’ve done all the baby stage and it’s nice to be now coming to a place where I can work on myself."
Helen was flooded with support from her famous pals and fans over her open and honest discussion about the procedure. Friend and make-up artist Kirsty Martin wrote: "So proud of you".
Footballers Wives actress Susie Amy commented: "You look great and healthy too," while model Iskra Lawrence said: "Happy you’re happy".
