Helen Flanagan found herself in a spot of trouble with her daughter's school over her appearance. The former Coronation Street star enlisted the help of a professional hairdresser after her eldest Matilda, seven, sported long pink braids at school.
The youngster's school took issue at the hairstyle, with mum-of-three Helen documenting the removal of the braids on her Instagram story. Helen's hairstylist Kelvin Barron came to her home to help take the hair extensions out.
Ex-I'm A Celebrity campmate Helen, 32, giggled as she showed her Instagram followers the pretty braids that had been woven into her daughter's hair, admitting to fans that they weren't well received. "So the braids didn't go down too well at school," Helen said, as Kelvin added: "What a time to be alive!"

"So me and Kelvin have to do every single braid so she can go to school tomorrow," Helen explained.
"Mother of the year!" joked Kelvin, as Helen laughed, clutching onto the braids in her hand as he worked to remove them from Matilda's head. "It was the colour they didn’t like at school maybe summer holidays [sic]," the star captioned the post.
In the next slide, Helen asked her second eldest, Delilah, who turned five last week, to give her a cuddle. "Needing a hug more than Delilah," she penned.
It comes after Helen was cruelly mum-shamed on multiple occasions as trolls hit out at her parenting techniques. Last month, Helen, who split from her Bristol Rovers winger ex Scott Sinclair last summer, was accused of causing two-year-old Charlie's tantrums.
More recently, Helen posed for some sweet pictures with her brood, in which she could be seen holding a glass of wine. Although her children appeared more than happy in the snaps as they crawled over their mother's back, some followers trolled Helen for drinking a glass of wine around her children.
Whilst a minority took aim at Helen, the star was flooded with support from fans after she shared some of the cruel jibes she was on the receiving end of. One follower wrote: "You're such a great mum. Keep going."
