Helen Flanagan finally breaks silence on Scott Sinclair split after engagement ring confusion

Helen Flanagan has finally broken her silence on her split from Scott Sinclair after sparking confusion by wearing an 'engagement ring' on her recent Dubai holiday. Earlier this month, the former Coronation Street star whisked her three children off to the UAE for a week-long break during the Easter holidays.

Helen, who is famed for playing Rosie Webster in the ITV soap, kept her fans and followers updated on social media while on her trip with Matilda, seven, Delilah, four and two-year-old son Charlie, as well as her friend who helps her out with her children. And while the break didn't come without its hiccups, with Helen detailing Charlie's tantrums and 'fallouts' with her eldest daughter, Helen did take a night off from mum duties.

While away, the 32-year-old looked stunning as she Instagrammed a snap from her night out as she left the kids back at the hotel and let her hair down while out in Dubai.

In the snap, Helen could be seen lounging in the back of a plush taxi. The blonde beauty could be seen sporting an eye-grabbing hot pink jumpsuit which sparkled from top to toe. The plunging neckline of the number by Nadine Merabi waist belt and flared bottoms. showed off the results of Helen's recent confidence-boosting boob job while a belt around the waist accentuated her fabulous figure.

"Mummy’s night out in Dubai," she captioned the snap to her hundreds of thousands of followers and was quickly flooded with compliments. Others, however, were distracted by Helen's rock on her finger as @twinklesbean was among those to say: "And the engagement ring is firmly on."

But a week later, when she umped on another flight for a whistlestop trip to Tenerife, Helen addressed the sparkling piece of jewellery adorning her finger. Appearing fresh-faced, Helen joked she looked 'rough' as her blonde locks fell loose from being tied back. Posing with a puzzle book featuring her fellow I'm A Celebrity... South Africa co-star, Helen wrote on her Instagram Story: "Love you @carolvorders. I fell asleep, that's why I look rough," adding a crying laughing emoji.

She then added: "My ring is @laraheems_jewellery I always wear it as I find it a comfort as I'm used to having a rock on my finger." Now though, Helen has addressed her rock as she confirmed she has no plans to reunite with Bristol Rovers footballer Scott, with whom she shares her three children.

"We actually broke up in July,” Helen has told OK! Magazine before addressing their alleged reconciliation over the engagement ring snap. "That’s so typical of me – I didn’t even think about wearing a ring on that finger!" she said of the sparkler which she hasn't given back to Scott.

"My ring’s my ring, it’s for my girls," she said. But on whether there is a chance of a reconciliation in the future, "No," the Bury-born soap star said. "I just hope we can be good friends and co-parent."

Helen and Scott started dating in 2009, before he proposed in Disneyland Paris in May 2018. She had been planning a fairy-tale wedding, having secured a date at the grand Grantley Hall in North Yorkshire but soon had to tell those involved that the big day was off. "A lot of people say, ‘Oh, stay, make things work for the children. But children need happy parents and they need a happy environment, so it’s not always so straightforward," she added to OK!
