Helen Flanagan admits she's 'overwhelmed' before night out with daughter after addressing co-parenting with Scott Sinclair

Helen Flanagan admitted to feeling 'overwhelmed' before picking herself up and heading on a mother-daughter night out. The former Coronation Street actress took to Instagram with a selfie showing herself with a fresh face and in her dressing gown.

"Tired, overwhelmed, hormonal and I've ate rubbish all day," Helen typed alongside the post with a laughing emoiji and pink heart. But the 32-year-old soon had to get up and going as she and her eldest daughter Matilda attended The Fab Home Interiors Launch in Preston.

In a video shared on her Instagram Story, Helen could be seen posing in the mirror as she shouted for her seven-year-old to join her. The I'm A Celebrity star looked stunning as she showed her washboard abs as she donned a stylish pinstripe grey co-ord.

She popped on a pair of heels and slicked her hair back into a neat bun as she cuddled up to her little girl who looked adorable in a black dress with a metallic gold star motif and matching black sandals.

It came after Helen opened up about life as a single mum following her split from ex-fiancé Scott Sinclair. The actress, who played Rosie Webster in ITV's Corrie, confirmed the end of her relationship with the Bristol Rovers footballer last month after separating last July after being together for 13 years.

Helen, 32, recently opened up, explaining that a friend often helps her with her daily life at home while dealing with three children - Matilda, Delilah and her son Charlie, who are all under the age of 10.

In a new interview, Helen revealed that Scott, 34, made the decision to move in with his mum following their split but this was not an issue when it comes to co-parenting as she gets on with his family. "I was with Scott aged 19-31, so that's why I get on so well with his mum," she said, before adding to The Sun: "It's really nice, it's pretty drama free as I get on really well with her.

"The kids see their dad all the time, they see their nana a lot, we're always in Birmingham a lot to meet with the kids halfway." It comes after Helen jokingly claimed she was 'gutted' during a reunion with her children. Earlier this week, the former soap star candidly shared about suffering a 'down' moment as she spent time away from her kids.

Helen later headed out with her daughter, Matilda (Helen Flanagan Instagram)

Her children were off enjoying time with their dad in Dubai after Helen whisked their children off to the UAE city herself last month. While they were away, Helen gave fans a candid update on how she was feeling after time away from her beloved children. "I miss my kids so much," she said. "I felt really down actually last night because I really miss them now. I’ve had a really, really fun time, but I feel weird now and I want them back."

And Helen got her wish on Wednesday (May 17) as she was finally reunited with her little ones. But posting a video to her Instagram Story as she cuddled her middle child, four-year-old Delilah, the mum-of-three said she was 'gutted'. "I've just got back from Birmingham and I've got my little shadow," Helen said before kneeling down to be in the video with her little girl.

"I've missed you," the Bury-born star screeched but her daughter asked: "Where's Beth?" to which Helen replied: "Beth's coming tomorrow." But Delilah wasn't satisfied with that answer and said she wanted Beth to come over. "What about mummy?" Helen asked. "Is mummy not good enough?"

She then added: "Oh my god Delilah, don't break my heart," as she continued to ask for Beth. Writing alongside the video, Helen said: "Bit gutted Delilah's asking for my friend," before adding a crying laughing emoji and a pink heart. But Helen was then later seen with two-year-old Charlie who clung onto his mum as she said: "He was so excited to see me."

Helen shared how her kids had had 'the best time' away with their dad, nan, and their cousins and shared how she 'never worries' when the kids are away as "Scott's mum's just amazing," Helen said.
