KOLKATA: Teenage sprinter Rezoana Mallick Heena announced her arrival on the international stage by ending up with three medals -- two gold in the girl’s 400m and girl’s 4x400m team relay events and a silver in the girl’s 200m to help India end overall second behind China in the fifth Asian Youth Athletics Championships in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on Sunday.
The Indian contingent returned with a haul of 24 medals that included six gold, 11 silver and seven bronze in the Under-18 championship.
