A Nottinghamshire infant school has been experiencing problems with its boiler. Parents with children at Robert Miles Infant School in Bingham were asked to send pupils in extra layers today (Monday, November 7) due to problems with the school's boiler and radiator network.
Due to these issues the heating system was unable to operate across the school, except in the main school hall. Temporary heating was placed across the school to ensure the building was warm enough whilst the school works to resolve the issue.
A spokesperson for the Nova Education Trust said: "Robert Miles Infant School in Bingham is currently experiencing problems to its boiler and radiator network. The school, part of Nova Education Trust, remains open as usual today (7 November) after the temperature in the building was deemed to be adequate enough to continue to operate.
