Hearts have reportedly set aside money in a bid to find a transfer spark in the January window.
The Edinburgh Evening News state Robbie Neilson is aiming to land new arrivals amid their challenging start to the season amid a clutch of injuries to the likes of Liam Boyce, Kye Rowles and Craig Halkett. Neilson has watched his side struggle for results domestically while also suffering several eye-opening defeats in the Europa Conference league. But Neilson is aiming to add quality when the window opens in January.
He said: "We aren’t going to come out and say we need this, this and this, but we have ideas. Like any transfer window, you want to be stronger by the time you come out of it. That’s going to be the objective. We have already had a chat about what positions and we are trying to source players in these positions, although we have a number of games to play before we get into that.”
