Heart of Midlothian are reportedly interested in acquiring Kilmarnock winger Daniel Armstrong.
The 27-year-old winger is approaching the final six months of his contract at Rugby Park, which allows him to engage in discussions with other clubs when the January transfer window opens on New Year's Day.
This situation enables Hearts to propose a pre-contract agreement, similar to their previous signings of Yan Dhanda from Ross County, James Penrice from Livingston, and Blair Spittal from Motherwell last season.
Armstrong, who passed a late fitness test to start against Hibernian on Sunday, has been a standout performer for Kilmarnock, playing a crucial role in their impressive fourth-place finish last season. He scored nine times and contributed with 14 assists during that campaign.
This time around, he's yet to find the net but does boast five assists from 23 appearances.
