Martin Boyle's return to Hibs has been capped off in the most dramatic way as his late goal sparked a pitch invasion and salvaged a 1-1 Premiership draw against Hearts.
It was a fantastic start for the away side at Easter Road as Barrie McKay played a sublime chip in behind the home defence for Lawrence Shankland to score the first Edinburgh derby goal of the season. He then had to look alive at the other end by scooping a goal-bound Elie Youan effort off the Jambos goal line.
Lee Johnson's Hibs were pressing and probing for that leveller on a day of frantic action and noise, Craig Gordon proving his credentials as Scotland's number one keeper with an outstanding one-handed stop. His former competitor David Marshall made a heroic double save the other end to keep Hearts at bay as their confidence grew.
Boyle's heroic return beckoned from the Hibees bench as he netted a leveller with the last kick off the ball to steal a share of the points.
Here is how we rated the Hearts players in Leith.

Craig Gordon - 7
A fantastic stop in the first half was a big moment in the game. A couple mishit clearances but an overall solid outing.
Michael Smith - 6
No threats caused by Hibs' left flank during his hour on the park. Reliable as ever.
Craig Halkett - 7
Won pretty much every ball that came his way and eventually worked out a way to cope with Youan.
Kye Rowles - 7
Cool, calm and collected. Didn't look bothered by his first derby experience and was a solid partner to Halkett.
Alex Cochrane - 6
Couple of decent runs up the line but that did leave him a bit more vulnerable when tracking back.
Peter Haring - 7
Couple of big challenges and provided steel in the engine room. Tough start against Ross County last weekend and much improved here. Booked.
Jorge Grant - 6
Anchored the midfield alongside Haring as the more ball-centric player. Did the basics of his job to a suitable standard.
Alan Forrest - 6
Wasn't at his best but had a couple of efforts at goal and got a warm reception when heading off for Nathaniel Atkinson.
Barrie McKay - 8
The heart of everything good. He caused his opposition no ends of problems and his assist for Shankland was sublime..
Liam Boyce - 7
Ran himself into the ground and ended up with cramp because of it. A few nice touches and looks a good foil for Shankland.
Lawrence Shankland - 8
Got off the mark with an instinctive finish and then raced back to clear an effort off the line. Promising signs.
Toby Sibbick - 4
Replaced Smith. Won a couple of aerial challenges
Nathaniel Atkinson - 4
Came on with Sibbick. Assisted him with defending on the right with few issues.
Cammy Devlin - 3
Late sub for Grant. Helped shore up the midfield.
Andy Halliday - 2
Came on with a minute left for a battered and bruised Boyce.
Hearts XI: Gordon, M. Smith, Halkett, Haring, Grant, Shakland, Boyce, Rowles, Forrest, McKay, Cochrane.
Subs: Stewart, Mackay-Steven, Atkinson, Devlin, Halliday, Neilson, Sibbick, Henderson, Ginnelly.
