Hearts confirm new date for St Mirren clash as Tynecastle to host festive football

Hearts St Mirren Tynecastle Robbie Neilson Premiership Craig Gordon

Hearts have discovered the rescheduled date for their Premiership fixture with St Mirren.

The initial fixture at Tynecastle on September 11th was postponed due to the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. It has now been confirmed that Hearts will host the Buddies - who beat Celtic 2-0 on Sunday - on December 21, the Wednesday before Christmas. Original match tickets remain valid for the clash.

Midweek fixtures aren't anything new to manager Robbie Neilson and his players as they continue their Europa Conference League campaign on Thursday's alongside their Premiership endeavours. They head into the international break off the back of a fruitful week, where they beat RFS 2-0 in Latvia and succeeded 3-0 away at Motherwell when returning to Scotland.
