Hearts have snapped up Celtic kid Alexander Walker as he makes the move to the capital.
The 16-year-old has spent a long period in Celtic's youth system and played for the Under-18s side. The left-sided centre-back has penned a two-year deal with the Jambos and bolsters their ranks.
Described as great on the ball and with both feet, academy director Frankie McAvoy has expressed his delight following the completion of the transfer. The youngster has spent the past couple of weeks training with his new club but has now completed a permanent switch with Walker raring to go. Speaking to Hearts' official website, McAvoy said: "He's great with both feet, good on the ball, and looking forward to grasping the opportunity to come to Hearts and progress.
