Heartland's Michelle Morgan has paid tribute to her co-star Robert Cormier following his untimely death at just 33 years old.
The 41-year-old actress, who plays Lou Fleming on the CBC show, said Robert had "so many more stories to tell" and thanked fans for their support.
Michelle shared a series of pictures on Instagram of the two of them on set and wrote: "You had so many more stories to tell. May you Rest In Peace Robert."
In the comments section, she said the news had hit the cast hard, writing: "Thanks everyone it was a hard couple days on set for the whole cast and crew."
Fans left their own messages of condolences in the comments. One person wrote: "So so sad. God Rest his Soul. Condolences to his family and friends."
Another said: "So sorry for the loss of your friend and coworker Michelle my heart goes to you and his family"
A third fan commented: "My sincere condolences to friends and family," while another added: "I'm so sorry to hear this."
Robert, who was best known for his role as Finn Cotter on Heartland, passed away on Friday in a hospital in Etobicoke, Ontario, after a serious fall.
The actor suffered fatal injuries during the fall, his sister Stephanie told The Hollywood Reporter.
Robert appeared on Heartland's 15th season as a new love interest for Amy Mitchell and is expected to be featured on the 16th season which premieres on October 2.
In addition to his role on Heartland, Cormier also appeared on Netflix's Slasher series and in episodes of American Gods and Ransom.
His heartbroken siblings also paid tribute to the late star ahead of his funeral which has been scheduled for Sunday.
"Robert was an athlete, an actor, and a great brother. He had a passion for helping others and was always looking to achieve more," his obituary read.
"He enjoyed movie nights with his family, and looked up greatly to his father. He impacted many people throughout his life whether it was family, teammates and friends."
It continued: "Rob's memory will live on through his passion for art and film; as well as his three sisters who meant the world to him."
The official Heartland social media account also paid tribute to the actor. They tweeted: "We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Robert Cormier. He was a beloved member of the Heartland cast the last two seasons.
"On behalf of the Heartland cast and crew, our thoughts are with him and his family during this difficult time."
