Heartbroken pals of tragic Scots schoolboy Devin Gordon gathered to pay tribute to the youngster in a local park.
Devastated loved ones flocked to Balbardie Park in Bathgate at 2pm to attend a memorial for the 13-year-old who died after being hit by a train.
Devin was involved in the fatal incident at Bathgate train station around 2.30pm on Wednesday and was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
More than one hundred people gathered to set off balloons in memory of Devin.
The teenage Hearts fan was a member of the Bathgate Juniors Football Club and number four balloons were released to mark his position on the team.
Those who gathered held onto each other tightly as inflatable footballs, love hearts and balloons emblazoned with 'Devon' were set off into the sky.
Members of the crowd wrapped themselves in Hearts scarves during the emotional event.
Some held their football scarves into the air after the tribute.
A fundraising page set up yesterday to raise cash for Devin's funeral has smashed its £10,000 target in hours.
The total continues to rise and is currently siting at over £13,000.
Friends are also trying to get a 13-minute round of applause at Tynecastle Stadium in Edinburgh during next Wednesday's clash with Celtic.
