Heartbroken mum who spent months planning Christmas didn't receive a single present

A mum was left heartbroken after spending months organising the perfect Christmas gifts for her husband and children to wake up on the big day and not receive anything from her family. While making memories and enjoying festivities is a big part of Christmas, opening presents is always a highlight.

Sharing the story on social media platform TikTok, Mary Yang said although she loves her children enjoying the magic of Christmas, it hurt that her husband did not bother to buy her a gift. In the video, she said "Christmas sucks every year".

The post has since gone viral with thousands of sympathetic users flooding the comment section to share their support as the video surpassed 870,000 views, the Mirror reports.
