A young family say they are 'devastated' after their dog was killed after being hit by a car.
Katie Colclough says three-year-old Milo was struck by a Grey Volkswagen Polo after he escaped from the family home in Stoke-on-Trent last Thursday (January 13).
Witnesses told the 28-year-old mum that the driver also hit a car before dragging Milo up the road, StokeonTrent Live reports.

The family's pooch, which is a cross between a Pomeranian, Jack Russell and a Staffie tragically died three days later.
Milo's death has left Katie's daughter Lexi Bradbury, seven, and her six-year-old son Jamie devastated.
"I put Milo out on his lead while we were all getting ready to go to bed," Katie said.
"Lexi then shouted for him but he didn’t answer and I found his collar on the floor, he had snapped it. We went out to look for him but it was cold and late.
"Within five minutes of getting home he had jumped over the fence and was back in the garden. He was gone for 40 minutes at most.
"He had his head down and his tail in between his legs. He was acting as if he had been naughty but I didn’t notice anything untoward.
"But on the Saturday I came back from shopping at 12.30pm and I walked in the kitchen and saw a hell of a lot of blood.
"We then saw these gashes on him which have scabbed over."
Katie took Milo to the vet but they were closed and he was taken to the Lime Trees Veterinary Hospital.
She added: "The vets came out and said he does seem to have had a bit of trauma.
"At this point I’m on the Our Fenton Facebook group and I see a little dog had been run over around the same time Milo escaped.
"I’ve done some investigating and got through to witnesses. I sent them pictures of Milo and they’ve clarified it was him that got hit.
"A grey VW Polo was speeding up Fenpark Road. It apparently hit one car and then hit my dog.
"Milo was going to play with a lady’s dog, she picked her dog up and had to tell her daughter to move out of the way otherwise the car would’ve hit her.
"I’ve been told Milo was stuck underneath the wheel and she sped off up the road dragging him with her."
Although Milo returned home from the vets on Saturday he wasn’t eating, drinking or moving.
Katie got him an appointment at Rogers, Brock and Barker Veterinary surgeons on Sunday but he sadly died that evening.
"On Sunday I woke up he'd lost more blood. I took him in and the vet came back out and said he is really ill and has fluid on his belly and air on his chest," she said.
"Around 7.45pm they rang me and said they'd found him unresponsive. They tried to do CPR but due to his severe injuries he did pass."
Katie added: "He was one of a kind. It’s not like we can go and get another dog, there will never be another Milo. My whole family is broken. He was my kids’ best friend.
"It’s disgusting that the driver drove off. I was none the wiser until Saturday, he had no other signs until he started losing blood.
"The driver needs to be held responsible. The story would be different if she had stopped. It’s careless and inhumane to drive off.
"People say they heard a massive bang and then Milo yelping as the car was screeching up the street, it’s heart-wrenching. I want to know exactly what has happened. We can’t rest without knowing."
Staffordshire Police confirmed they were aware of the incident.
A spokesman said: "Just after 10pm on Thursday (January 13) police were called to a report of a road traffic collision involving a dog and a vehicle on Fenpark Road in Fenton.
"The driver did not stop and the car was last seen on Colville Street. Sadly, the dog has since passed away."
