A new video showing the newlywed couple before the fatal accident has been obtained by police.
Surveillance footage shows alleged drunk driver Jamie Lee Komoroski speeding before she reportedly struck into a golf cart carrying newlyweds Samantha Miller and Aric Hutchinson, in the tragedy that left Samantha dead.
A toxicology report showed Komoroski had a blood alcohol level of 0.261 and authorities have said she was driving well over twice the speed limit when she slammed into the back of a golf cart as it left the wedding reception.
Law enforcement officials said the new surveillance video reveals the moments leading up to the fatal accident in Folly Beach, South Carolina on April 28.
The footage, which has not been publicly released, depicts the newlywed couple driving in a golf cart along a road.
They are seen being followed closely by the allegedly intoxicated driver.
Folly Beach Police Chief Andrew Gilreath told CNN that the video was captured shortly after the couple's wedding reception on April 28 and just a few blocks away from the accident site.
Approximately two minutes after the couple's golf cart passed, the video shows Komoroski's vehicle speeding down the same road.
About four minutes later, first responders are seen rushing to the scene.
Mr Gilreath stated that Samantha, Mr Hutchinson, and two others were riding in the golf cart-style vehicle when they were struck by the motorist, causing the cart to roll multiple times.
Three passengers, including Hutchinson, sustained injuries, with two in serious condition.
The golf cart, adorned with cans and a "just married" sign, was severely damaged and overturned.
Despite the efforts of first responders, Samantha Miller could not be revived and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Komoroski, 25, has been charged with vehicular homicide and three counts of felony DUI resulting in great bodily injury.
A motion filed by her attorneys claims that she has struggled for years with alcohol dependence, depression and anxiety.
