Heartbreaking tributes paid to woman, 22, who died after being hit by police car

A woman killed after being hit by a police car in Merseyside yesterday has been named as 22-year-old Rachael Louise Moore.

Emergency services were called to Sheil Road in Kensington on Christmas Eve at around 8:10pm to reports that a marked police vehicle collided with a pedestrian. Sadly a 22-year-old woman died from her injuries.

Paying tribute today, Rachael's family say she was 'much loved' and 'caring'. Police are continuing to appeal for information related to the incident.
