Heartbreaking tributes as Leeds residents shocked by girl's sudden death on Christmas Day

Tributes have been left outside the house of a teenage girl who died on Christmas Day in Leeds, as police look into the circumstances of her death.

Neighbours are said to be "sad" and worried" as bouquets of flowers, candles and helium balloons lay tragically outside the terrace house on Throstle Road, Middleton. These items pay tribute to the as-of-yet unnamed 16-year-old whose cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

A neighbour Brandon, 17, whose grandmother lives a few doors away, said: "I just think it's so sad and I've heard that she's 16. Plus it's pretty close and we don't know what's happened. There's lots of old people living round here and it's worrying for them.
