Cleveland Browns linebacker Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah lost his older brother Tuesday. Joshua Emmanuel Owusu-Koramoah was found dead in a home in Hampton, Virginia.
The initial reports state that there was a fire in the house but that Hampton police are opening a homicide investigation into his death.
The younger Owusu-Koramoah just finished his rookie season with the Browns after being a second-round pick. He showed much of the explosive playmaking in 2021 that he showed starring at Notre Dame during his college career.
The Cleveland linebacker had posted a photo from Cape Coast in Ghana, Africa three days ago on his Instgram account.
The elder Owusu-Koramoah was a three-sport athlete in high school and, according to the initial report, sang in his church choir at Liberty Baptist Church. There is a hotline available if anyone has information on his death:
Anyone who has information regarding Joshua Owusu-Koramoah’s death are asked to call the anonymous Crime Line at 1-888-LOCK-U-UP. If a tip results in an arrest the caller may received a cash reward of up to $1,000.
