We have all felt the dread of arriving on our holidays and making our way onto the scary busy roads in a foreign country.
And there is nothing more terrifying than coming face to face with a roundabout in a peculiar road environment.
But that is what is suspected to have happened to a European driver as they attempted to navigate a road at Edinburgh Airport.

A TikTok video appears to show a native driver having to put their foot down on the brakes at the roundabout on the outskirts of the airport.
They were forced to come to a halt as a red 4x4 Chevrolet approached the front of their car after going the wrong way around the road.
The confused driver of the Chevrolet can then be seen sheepishly taking the turn off towards Glasgow, Livingston and the Forth Road Bridge.
One viewer of the TikTok said: “That’s just at the airport I think. Probably a rental car with someone that’s never driven on the left before.
Whilst another commented: “Honestly scary how some people drive sometimes.”
It is understood this is not the first time that this has happened at the airport, with another TikTok user saying: “Genuinely not even the first time I’ve seen someone do this on this exact roundabout.”
