Healthcare pay offer lauded as $1.5b hospital launched

Healthcare workers have received a double-digit pay offer that's been welcomed by a union official, as industrial action threatened to upstage the launch of a $1.5 billion public hospital.

The offer of a 12 per cent increase over two and a half years represents a substantially better offer for Victorian healthcare workers than previous proposals.
