Melbourne: A novel antibiotic created by RMIT University researchers may be instantly altered to prevent developing resistance to dangerous superbugs. The antibiotic was developed by Priscila Cardoso, a PhD student at RMIT's School of Health and Biosciences, and Dr Celine Valery, who served as Cardoso's primary advisor. It can be made in a lab quickly and economically because of its simple architecture.
