Kevin De Bruyne says Erling Haaland will be chewing over his penalty miss despite Manchester City progressing past Bayern Munich through to the semi-finals of the Champions League.
The striker blazed his spot kick over the bar on 37 minutes with the game goalless after Bayern defender Dayot Upamecano was adjudged to have handled in the area. The 22-year-old made up for his error by slamming home the opening goal of the game on 57 minutes to ensure his side were in the hat for the last four amid a 1-1 draw.
Haaland now has 48 goals this season, including 12 in eight Champions League outings. But despite his astonishing haul, De Bruyne said the attacker - who also scored in the 3-0 first leg win - would be seething over his missed penalty despite the 4-1 aggregate triumph.
