Jay Jones was looking for a job when his search led him somewhere he never expected: deep into the world of recruitment scams. What began as his own hunt for work turned into an investigation of convincing fake recruiter profiles, copied company details, and external websites used in attempts to obtain money or sensitive information from applicants.

Jones says he has helped remove nearly 60,000 fake job postings, including 150 from Teal, as well as more than 7,000 fake profiles from LinkedIn.
