Danny Murphy has delivered his own praise for new Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch, following the Whites' 3-2 win over Wolves on Friday evening. Marsch, who was appointed following Marcelo Bielsa's sacking last month, was praised for his game management as United came back from 2-0 down to win at Molineux.
Now seven points clear of the relegation places following back-to-back Premier League wins, the mood has seemingly began to lift following Leeds sudden upturn in results. TV pundit Murphy has not shied away from just how impressed he has been at the work Marsch has done thus far.
“He’s likeable, he’s concise,” began the 44-year-old live on TalkSPORT earlier this afternoon. “He’s a bit emotional which is understandable in his first month in the job in the Premier League, with some of the games we’ve witnessed and results, with the ups and downs of being down at the bottom of the league.

“So yeah, it’s going to take him a little bit of time to plateau because at the moment he’s a rollercoaster with his interviews, but I quite like him. He’s quite infectious, he’s got a good passion for the game."
Marsch has endured a difficult start to his managerial career, after opting to move to Europe to grasp a further understanding of the game. At just 48-year-old, the former RB Leipzig head coach understands he isn't the finished article, but insists he is willing to do what it takes in order to succeed here in the Premier League.
“It’s the reason I came to Europe and learned German. This is the fifth country I have coached football in. It takes me out of my comfort zone. Challenges me to develop. I’m very cognisant of the fact,'' said Marsch in an interview earlier this month.
