“Whenever you mention Dominic Raab around here people just roll their eyes,” says Linda Waddingham, 74, a retired customer services manager at British Airways.
“Now I’ve started doing it,” she says as her eyes look skyward on a trip back from Sainsbury’s in Walton-on-Thames, one of the biggest towns in Raab’s Esher and Walton constituency.
