'He just doesn't care' - Dean Henderson makes admission about Man United striker Marcus Rashford

Dean Henderson has lifted the lid on Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford's ruthless approach to training.

Henderson, who is currently on loan at Nottingham Forest, was expected to challenge David de Gea for a starting place at United last season. However, the 25-year-old has not played in the Premier League for United since the final day of the 2020/21 season.

It was, therefore, hardly a surprise when United sanctioned a season-long loan move for Hendeson to Forest, as the shot-stopper looks to get more game time in an attempt to stake his claim to be England's No.1 in Qatar. The United loanee was one of three goalkeepers selected by Gareth Southgate for his latest Three Lions squad, alongside Arsenal's Aaron Ramsdale and Newcastle's Nick Pope - the impending return of Jordan Pickford could potentially see Henderson narrowly miss out on a World Cup spot.

Despite being away from the club this season, Henderson is all too familiar with United's squad, as he revealed that Rashford is the most ruthless player he has faced in training.

"Either Harry Kane or Marcus Rashford," Henderson told Sky Sports when asked who is the hardest hitter of a ball he's faced. "Rashford can slap it, mate. Marcus will be eight yards away, he won't care [that] you're in the way, he'll just slap it straight at you.

"You can't even move. You want to get out of the way, but you can't get out of the way. It stings so much, especially in the winter time! He just doesn't care about the goalies, I'll be honest! Not a nice feeling sometimes."
