Simon Cowell has claimed that his eight-year-old son Eric makes decisions for him on his talent shows.
Cowell appeared on Loose Women on Wednesday’s where he spoke about “headstrong” Eric who he shares with his fiancée Lauren Silverman, 45.
When asked if Eric ever gives him advice on his various shows, he replied: "Oh my God yes, non-stop by the way.
“I have a good idea what he’s going to be when older.
"He’s got his own opinion and he’s his own man which is really important."
He continued: "The great thing is when I watch the shows, when they go out I’m looking at Eric thinking does he like something? and he’s normally right,’ he added.
The music mogul, who previously vowed never to get married or have children, added that he was "late to the party" regarding fatherhood but described it as the "best thing" to have happened to him.
This was the music mogul’s first TV appearance since sparking concern with his "unrecognisable" look at the Royal Variety Performance, which was filmed on December 2 and aired on ITV on Tuesday.
Cowell, who proposed to American socialite Silverman last Christmas Eve in Barbados, left TV viewers distracted by his facial features, leaving many to question if his new look was the result of cosmetic surgery.
Many fans took to Twitter to comment on the 63-year-old’s appearance after he dissolved his facial fillers and said goodbye to Botox earlier this year.
One viewer wrote: "Just saw Simon Cowell on the Royal Variety show, what has he done to himself?”
Another added: "WTF have you done to your face lad?"
While a third commented: "Simon Cowell needs to stop having facelifts!"
Cowell is yet to address the speculation.
