Shares of HDFC Bank gained 2.7% to their day's high of Rs 739.50 on the BSE on Monday after a host of brokerages retained bullish calls on the stock after Managing Director and CEO Sashidhar Jagdishan decided not to seek another term at the helm of the country's largest private lender.
Jagdishan's current tenure ends on October 26, 2026.
