HC notice to Centre, Haryana, advocate general on plea against favoritism/nepotism in selection of law officers

CHANDIGARH: The Punjab and Haryana high court on Thursday issued notice to the Central government, Haryana government and advocate general (AG) Haryana Baldev Raj Mahajan on a plea seeking probe into the alleged irregularities/nepotism into the selections/appointments of law officers in the AG office Haryana.

Justice Vinod Bhardwaj of the HC has issued the notice after hearing a plea filed by Gurdev Singh, 46, resident of village Jeoli, Naraingarh in Ambala district.
