JAIPUR: The high court on Thursday ordered that there will be no second round of counselling for NEET- PG admissions as complications arising out of the interview board inadvertently selecting two candidates for a single seat at Jaipuria Hospital has been resolved with one candidate accommodated at a vacant seat at SNMC Jodhpur. The single bench of Justice Ashok Kumar Gaur issued the order on a petition by Dr Sabir Mohammad and others.
The seat of MBBS DNB general medicine at Jaipuria was initially allotted to Dr Lalit Dhakar and he was entitled to get admission on the said seat as per his merit and choice, said the court. The inadvertent allotment of a seat to Dr Sabir Mohammad on which Dr Lalit Dhkar got admission resulted in a series of litigation.
Now the court allotted Dr Sabir a seat of pediatrics at SNMC Jodhpur.
In an order to resolve the issue, the admission counselling board decided to conduct a second round of counselling from roster point 362.
