It's a good time to be an HBO Max subscriber. The streaming service arguably has three of the best shows on streaming or television right now: "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms," "Industry" season 4 and "The Pitt" season 2.
There's just one problem, though: none of these shows can withstand the juggernaut that is Super Bowl 2026. And like with most of HBO's hit shows, the Super Bowl claims Sunday night as its domain.
Now, "The Pitt," which airs on Thursday nights, has nothing to worry about. But "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" and "Industry" are both traditional Sunday night shows on HBO and HBO Max. So, wisely, HBO is moving up the HBO Max release dates for both shows so you don't have to choose between prestige TV and Seahawks vs. Patriots.
Episode 4 of "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" will now premiere early at 3:01 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 6, on HBO Max. Simultaneously, episode 5 of "Industry" season 4 will now premiere early on Friday, Feb. 6 at 3:01 a.m. on HBO Max. Both shows will still debut on linear TV HBO at their normal times on Sunday, Feb. 8.
'A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms' full release schedule
If you haven't been watching the latest "Game of Thrones" spinoff, you should be. In my "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms" premiere review, I said that, despite its slow start, the good stuff is coming. If you've been following along, you know already that I was proven correct on that front; this show is excellent.

'Industry' season 4 full release schedule
If there's a show out there right now that can one-up "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms," it's this one. In my "Industry" season 4 premiere review, I declared it the same "delightfully unhinged" show that I became so addicted to back in 2024, and episode 2, "The Commander and the Grey Lady" is the best episode of TV I've seen this year.
The fourth season of "Industry" has already completed three of its six episodes this season.
