HBO is making Game of Thrones fans' dreams come true once again with the development of another spinoff series. This time, the network is diving into the fascinating backstory of Westeros with the long-discussed Aegon's Conquest idea. The project is gaining momentum as HBO collaborates with talented screenwriter Mattson Tomlin, known for his work on blockbuster films like The Batman and the upcoming sequel The Batman Part II.
Aegon's Conquest serves as a direct prequel to the highly acclaimed House of the Dragon series, which delves into the captivating history of the Targaryen family. This new spinoff chronicles the brutal and bloody conquest of Westeros by the Targaryens, specifically focusing on Aegon Targaryen, his sister wives Rhaenys and Visenya, and their awe-inspiring dragons.
