A Hawaiian mother traveling from O’ahu for her brother’s wedding was left stunned after the Residence Inn by Marriott she booked provided a standard plastic laundry basket when she requested a crib for her toddler. The videos Shawna Lynn (shawnaaa.lynnn) shared on Instagram and TikTok went on to rack up over 1.9 million views in just two days as everyone puzzled over the strange mix-up.
Shawna Lynn documented the encounter with different videos across both platforms. On TikTok, she posted her initial reaction to making the discovery. However, Instagram got more detail, even if it was just a clip of her showing the Rubbermaid laundry basket that the staff had provided, complete with plastic bags and toilet paper inside.
