A modern Italian restaurant is opening at the former Northern Star cafe on Hamilton's Beaumont Street this month.
It's called Scarpetta and it's the brainchild of chefs and restaurateurs Joel Humphreys and Nic Wong, of Egg Shallot Hospitality, who also own the hatted Bistro Penny in Newcastle East and recently opened Blue Ribbon Bistro at Leichhardt Bowling Club.
