Manchester United supporters continue to provide a mixed response to Donny van de Beek being promised more game time when he recovers from injury. Van de Beek is currently sidelined with a muscular problem and is among four players who could miss the Everton game on Sunday.
Signed from Ajax two summers ago, the 25-year-old and his struggles to break into the United line-up on a regular basis have been well-documented. Van de Beek has only played 19 minutes in the Premier League this term after he was sent on loan to Goodison Park in January.
He will not have the opportunity to take on his temporary former teammates. However, with matches set to come thick and fast throughout October and the winter months - either side of the World Cup - Van de Beek will be given chance to justify Ole Gunnar Solskjaer paying £35million for his services in 2020.
