Banksy confirms new mural in Bayswater — is artist also behind identical artwork in central London?

Street artist Banksy has confirmed he is behind a new mural that has appeared on a building in Bayswater.

The public artwork depicts two children clad in warm layers and hats, lying on the ground and pointing up at the sky.

It has been painted on to a wall above a row of garages on Queen's Mews and appears to have been first spotted on Monday.

The artist confirmed the mural was his after posting images of it on his Instagram page.

The confirmed Banksy mural is the latest in a series of pieces frm the street artist that have popped up around the city throughout the year.

In September, a new mural appeared at the Royal Courts of Justice depicting a protester being beaten by a judge, in full traditional wig and robe, holding a gavel. Blood spatters can be seen hitting the placard.

The politically charged anonymous artist has always used grafitti as a means by which to send a powerful message. If this new piece is indeed a Banksy - what message is it trying to send?
