CHANDIGARH: Quicker than neighbouring Punjab in Covid-19 vaccination, Haryana has slacked when it comes to administering booster dose to people and inoculating those under 18, as the figures released by the health department suggest.
Till Monday, Gurgaon had the best booster dose figure of 49,325, while only five districts have this figure in excess of 10,000. Till Monday evening, 2,07,369 healthcare workers, frontline workers, senior citizens, and those with comorbidities had taken the booster dose, so the coverage is not even 25% of their estimated count of 9.75 lakh.
