CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Monday reported 508 new Covid-19 cases and one death during the day. 581 patients had recovered while 26,535 were given the vaccination jab during the day.
With this the cumulative Covid coverage of the state has gone to 10,26,230 cases, 10,13,082 recoveries, 10,635 deaths and 2,490 active cases. Of the total active cases, 89 are hospitalized while rest are in home isolation.
The only death was reported from Gurugram district which also reported highest 169 new Covid cases. Yamuanagar emerged as new hot spot with 62 new cases followed by 58 from Faridabad, 47 from Panchkula, 41 from Kurukshetra, 26 cases from Ambala , 23 cases from Karnal and 13 cases from Kaithal.
Rest 11 districts reported 10 or less cases while Nuh did not report any case during the day.
On the vaccination front, first dose was given to 1961 persons followed by second dose for 7057 while 17517 were given the booster dose. The cumulative vaccination coverage of the state has gone to 44602430
