CHANDIGARH: Haryana on Monday started the week with 371 new Covid cases and one death. 652 persons were recovered while 20905 were given the vaccine jabs during the day.
With this the cumulative Covid count of the state has gone to 1017580 cases, 1004762 recoveries, 10625 deaths and 2170 Active cases. Active cases include 83 patients who are hospitalized while rest are in home isolation.
Gurugram reported the highest 141 cases followed by 37 cases from Ambala, 35 cases from Faridabad, 29 cases from Panchkula, 18 cases from Hisar, 15 from Panipat, 13 cases each from Karnal and Kurukshetra, 12 cases each from Sonipat and Sirsa districts.
Nine cases were reported from Rohtak, eight from Bhiwani, Seven from Jind, five cases each from Jhajjar and Fatehabad, four cases from Yamyanangar, three from Rewari, two cases each from Charkhi Dadri and Palwal districts. While one case was reported from Kaithal district.
The only death was reported from Kurukshetra.
On the vaccination front, first dose was given to 1270 persons while second dose was given to 6987 persons and 12648 were given the booster dose.
