As per the information, when the shopkeeper Sumeet Narula of Lakshmi Garden Colony of Yamunanagar did not pay a ransom as per the demand and got a case registered against the accused, two motorcycle-borne miscreants came to his shop at Sasauli road in the Farakpur area and opened multiple fires on it.

The police said when the gunshots were fired, no one was present inside the shop but the bullets hit the entrance door and the two miscreants fled from the spot.
