CHANDIGARH: Laying emphasis on the re-use of treated wastewater, Haryana Water Resources Authority, chairperson, Keshni Anand Arora on Thursday directed the officers of the departments concerned, including bulk consumers like thermal power plants, industries, agriculture, horticulture, infrastructure in the state, to strictly follow the norms laid down under the Re-use of Treated Waste Water Policy, 2019.
The state government has recently made amendments in the Haryana Water Resources Authority Act, 2020, to delegate power to the authority to enforce the treated Wastewater policy of the government.
