Haryana: Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala reviews HSIIDC projects worth Rs 400 crore

CHANDIGARH: Haryana deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala said on Thursday tha Haryana State Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) is the nodal agency of the state government to develop and accelerate the pace of industrialization.

He added that no compromise on quality will be tolerated in any ongoing projects.

Chautala was presiding over a review meeting for projects worth more than Rs 25 crore being prepared by HSIIDC. Chautala reviewed the ongoing projects worth over Rs 400 crore.

Apart from senior officers of HSIIDC, people associated with the projects were also present on the occasion.

HSIIDC has constructed multi-storied buildings such as Vanijya Nikunj Buildings, Japanese Hostel Gurugram, office building at Panchkula, Manesar and Kundli, auditorium building at IMT Manesar and Community Centre at IMT Manesar.

He directed to expedite the work while reviewing the 'Common Effluent Treatment Plants' currently being constructed and the CETP-projects to be upgraded for more capacity.

The deputy chief minister said that in Barhi village of Sonipat district, a Common Effluent Treatment Plant of 16 to 26 MLD capacity has been built at a cost of Rs 27 crore.

He added that the construction of 10 MLD capacity CETP is being built at a cost of Rs 34.50 crore so that the polluted water from industries can be treated and reused.

Further, upgradation of the existing CETP of 04 MLD capacity to 10 MLD capacity is being built at IE Kundli, Sonipat at a cost of Rs 23.70 crore and upgradation of existing 5 MLD CETP to 10 MLD is being done at IE Rai with an estimated cost of Rs 20.21 crore.

Chautala took the feedback of the upgradation of infrastructure facilities in the industrial estate located at Narwana in Jind district with an estimated cost of Rs. 15.29 crore and asked the officers concerned to expedite the work at the earliest so that the industries could be facilitated.

He also took the progress report of the infrastructure development being done in the Industrial Estate, Dharuhera with an estimated cost of Rs. 63.82 crore and Barwala in Panchkula district with an estimated cost of Rs. 154.20 crore, Core Processing Centre building being constructed at Hafed Food Park at IMT Rohtak with an estimated amount of Rs 12.81 crore.

While reviewing the construction work of 132 kV power substations built at Industrial Estate Kundli at a cost of Rs. 28.44 crore and two other substations of 33-33 kV power each with an estimated cost of Rs. 14.45 crore, he directed the officers and officials concerned to complete the work within the stipulated period.
