KARNAL: The Karnal police has booked two rice mill owners for allegedly embezzling paddy worth lakhs and forging to cheat the government.
This is the second such incident reported in the district in a week as four rice millers were also booked after the raid by the chief minister's flying squad on October 11 when 70,000 quintals of procured paddy were found missing during the physical verification of the stock.
